The description in iTunes is already trying to get me to sign up for free stuff, so I already feel like I'm being sold to....

I did like the setup that this will help me get people to say "That's interesting tell me more..." that was intriguing.

The clip of the interview was a little long for me. I like these short (after all, I'm going to hear it in a few minutes).

The sound quality sounds like you're trying to remove some hiss, but you're being too aggressive.

There is a spot in the episode where there should've been an advertisement but instead, there was a big blank spot.

I tuned in to hear John tell me about how to build a good pitch, and instead, John is interviewing some other author. I never understand why people who want to position themselves as an expert by giving the spotlight to someone else.

Every week noted TV critic and blogger Sonia Mansfield and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Christopher Allan Smith talk about movies, TV, books and more from both a fan and creator perspective.

Think of it as a great conversation over drinks with your quick, clever friends who know about a lot.

Opinion:
This show had a TON of double introductions, and it starts with an apology. I hate that. If you don't tell me you cut out of the coughs, I never knew they were there in the first place. The show was about the top stories of 2017, but four minutes in you still hadn't got to a top story.

Opinion
I liked the intro, and it did a good job of introducing the hosts, then once the hosts joined, they re-introduced themselves. GAH! Why not have the intro tell people that you're the TV, Film, etc person then you don't have to do that. You could introduce yourself, say your resolution and go to your top picks.

Nobody cares how the sausage is made. Why not just say, Brett you're the film/tv person your topic film/tv was what?

You're using Soundcloud which is a really bad podcast media hosting choice (see www.podcastmediahosting.com ) . So it started great and took too many U-turns on the way to the content

Opinion
You spent what I feel is a large amount of time doing "chit-chat that was boring. I would've given Anna a proper introduction and let the audience (ME) know what you brought her on, what she does, and why you're glad she's here. Instead, you had her stand across the room (apparently) and talk about if she says weird things or not.

THE GROW GUIDE

DESCRIPTION:
The Grow Guide is a weekly gardening podcast co-hosted by rookie grower, Maggie Wysocki, who asks all the questions you’re afraid to, and master grower, Dave Hanson, who answers them all with wisdom. Listen in as they chat openly about seasonal gardening topics, including the trials, tribulations and successes of growing in climates where it can feel…kind of impossible.

OPINION:
The show starts off with a ton of empty space (oops) not a great impression at all. The intro does a good job of setting the stage, and then you repeated most of what the intro said (the intro just say you are Maggie and Dave). You did a good job of keeping the chit chat quick, and getting to the content. I would just watch the volume levels. I do like the format of a novice paired with an expert.

I would also look into purchasing a domain and pointing at your libsyn page (thegrowguide.com or growguidepodcast.com) it give you a more professional look (and it’s easier to remember)
